IJVD, the journal of vehicle engineering, automotive technology and components, has been established for over forty years as an international authoritative reference in the field. It publishes the Proceedings of the International Association for Vehicle Design, which is an independent, non-profit-making learned society that exists to develop, promote and coordinate the science and practice of Automotive Engineering and Technology, Vehicle Design and Safety.

IJVD aims to help engineers and applied scientists engaged in vehicle design and research, to contribute to the field, to disseminate technical information, and to learn from each other|s work.

Automotive engineers and academics working in university research and design departments and institutes, and managers, designers, technologists, and research and development engineers working in industry.
Contents
IJVD publishes original and review papers, technical reports, case studies, conference reports, vehicle and component manufacturers| information, management reports, book reviews, and notes, commentaries, and news. Contribution may be by submission or invitation, and suggestions for special issues and publications are welcome.
