IJEED publishes papers that promote the advancement of education economics at all levels, encompassing all domains of costs and finance. The primary mission of the IJEED is to serve as a medium for initiating, collaborating, analysing, synthesising and evaluating original and ground-breaking contributions to the theory, practice and research in education economics applicable to primary, secondary, collegiate and higher education.
Objectives
The objectives of IJEED are to establish an effective channel of communication between policy makers, government agencies, academic and research institutions and persons concerned with the complex problems of education economics. It also aims to promote and coordinate developments in the field of education economics. Readership
IJEED provides a vehicle to help professionals, academia, researchers and policy makers, working in the field of educational policy and development, disseminate information and to learn from each other's work. Contents
IJEED publishes original papers, review papers, research notes/commentaries, case studies, technical reports, conference reports, book reviews. Special Issues devoted to important topics in education economics, educational management and development will occasionally be published. Subject Coverage

- Higher education: relevance in the context of present and future demands of society
- Shortcomings in the present higher educational system, suggestive models with regard to existing pattern

- Missing links in present educational systems and demands of the rural/agricultural sector
- Input-output analysis/forecasting/estimations with regard to demand, supply and investment aspects of higher education
- ICT education and development challenges
- Refugees in higher education and development
- Private higher education
- Any other relevant topic
- Part: II : Primary and Secondary Education
- Primary and secondary education costs and finances and budgetary issues in school education
- Features of enrolment and drop-out rates: responsible factors, success and ineffectiveness of concerned policies etc.
- Quality as well as physical infrastructure: gaps, role of voluntary organisations, private sector and society in educational development
- Curriculum, teaching and examination pattern: shortcomings, suggestive approaches, experiments – their successes and failures
- Future perspectives: demand and gaps in terms of availability of infrastructure, quality etc.
- Models for an advanced educational system, requirements of international collaboration and relationships with international agencies
- Role of private entrepreneurship in educational development
- Private school education - issues and options
- Educational management
- Nomadic education and development challenges
- Any other relevant topic
Specific Notes for Authors
Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may
only be submitted if the paper was not originally copyrighted and if it has
been completely re-written).
All papers are refereed through a double blind process. A guide for authors, sample copies and other relevant information for submitting papers are available on the Submission of
