IJSTL is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes papers on all methodological aspects in the field of shipping and transport logistics, particularly those that require empirical or mathematical analysis with managerial implications. IJSTL is dedicated to publishing original, high-quality and methodologically rigorous research papers that address significant management issues pertinent to shipping and transport logistics. IJSTL also publishes informative and critical book reviews of newly published books with scholarly and practical contributions that advance the state-of-the-art of the theory and practice of shipping and transport logistics.

IJSTL combines the high standards of an academic approach with the practical value of industrial applications. Its objective is to promote original research and disseminate cutting-edge knowledge for improving practice in the management of shipping and transport logistics, and to strengthen the theoretical base that underpins sound management decision-making. It provides a forum for exchange of ideas and presentation of development in theory and applications for researchers and practitioners to advance knowledge for improving management in the field of shipping and transport logistics.

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper was not originally copyrighted and if it has been completely re-written).

All papers are refereed through a double blind process. A guide for authors, sample copies and other relevant information for submitting papers are available on the Submission of Papers web-page.

You may send one copy in the form of an MS Word file attached to an e-mail (details of file formats in Author Guidelines) to Dr. Y.H.
