IJAIGHR proposes and fosters discussion on the issues, challenges and governance of artificial intelligence within the context of human rights and the welfare of human beings at large. The journal explores privacy, equality and non-discrimination in relation to artificial intelligence, as well as the protection and strengthening of human rights as a socio-economic and institutional process.

Objectives
The objective of the journal is to establish an effective channel of communication between policy makers, government agencies, academic and research institutions and individuals concerned with the complex role of AI governance and human rights in general. It aims to provide a platform to build a relationship between technology and political and social governance, to promote good practices of participation and to eliminate the possibility of losing any form of social and experiential learning.
Readership
IJAIGHR provides a vehicle to help professionals, academics, researchers and policy makers working in the field of AI governance and human rights to disseminate information and to learn from each other’s work.
Contents
IJAIGHR publishes original papers, review papers, technical reports, case studies and book reviews. Special issues devoted to important topics in AI governance and human rights will occasionally be published.

- Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written (more details available here) and the author has cleared any necessary permissions with the copyright owner if it has been previously copyrighted.
- Briefs and research notes are not published in this journal.
- All our articles go through a double-blind review process.
