Abstracting/Indexing Services and Journal Lists

With the advances of high throughput genome sequencing and digital imaging technologies, biocomputing, drug design and medical research have unfolded a series of new, predictive sciences that share the appendage –omics, such as genomics, proteomics, lipidomics, metabolomics, cytomics and pharmaconomics. These have promoted new emerging computational, statistical and biomedical approaches to drug design and drug development as well as unleashing the potential of significantly more accurate and more effective personalised diagnosis, therapeutics, and patient care.

Emerging high-performance computing, statistical learning and artificial intelligence approaches will help in discovering the disease variations and developing new approaches to drug development, disease prevention, treatment and personalised healthcare. Computational biology and drug design are complementary disciplines that hold great promise for the advancement of cutting-edge research and development in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences. Research and advances in these two areas influence broad ranges of scientific and engineering fields.

IJCBDD is an official journal of the International Society of Intelligent Biological Medicine and provides a common platform for the cross-fertilisation of ideas, and to help shape knowledge and scientific achievements by bridging these two very important and complementary disciplines into an interactive and attractive forum.

Objectives

The objectives of IJCBDD are to promote dialogue among researchers from multiple disciplines and the advancement of innovative biotechnology, biological, medical and pharmaceutical sciences. The journal also seeks to establish an effective communication channel between government agencies and academic and research institutions.

Readership

The audience of IJCBDD consists of scientists, researchers, medical and pharmaceutical practitioners, academics, graduate students, professionals and engineers working and interested in learning about new trends in computational biology and drug design.

Contents

IJCBDD publishes original papers, application papers, review papers, technical reports, case studies, conference reports, management reports, book reviews, notes, commentaries, and news. Special Issues devoted to important research topics and major international conferences in the fields will occasionally be published

IJCBDD publishes broad-spectrum of original research papers that foster the applications of computer science, engineering sciences, applied mathematics and statistics to biological problems as well as drug design and drug discovery.

Specific Notes for Authors

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
