   Objectives

The objectives of the IJMatEI are to establish a channel of communication to disseminate knowledge between academics/researchers and industry practitioners. Because of the multiscale nature of materials engineering innovation, the journal will provide a forum for cross-scale investigations into the materials preparation and processing, structure, properties, performance and applications.

   Readership

Academics; materials researchers; engineers; physicists; chemists; ceramists; metallurgists; professionals in related industries.

   Contents

IJMatEI publishes original research papers; review papers; short communications; discussion on papers; special issues on selected topic reflecting important advances in the general field of materials engineering innovation and select papers from conferences.

   Specific Notes for Authors

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and the author has cleared any necessary permissions with the copyright owner if it has been previously copyrighted). All authors must declare they have read and agreed to the content of the submitted manuscript. A full statement of our Ethical Guidelines for Authors is available.

All papers are refereed through a double blind process. A guide for authors, sample copies and other relevant information for submitting papers are available on the Author Guidelines web-page.
