Statement on authorship ethics and publication integrity
The International Journal of Information Quality (IJIQ) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, publication ethics, and research transparency.
Authorship must reflect genuine scholarly contributions and comply with the journal's authorship policies. The solicitation, offer or transfer of authorship positions without appropriate scholarly contributions is unacceptable, as is the sale or purchase of authorship positions via social media and other channels.
Any changes to the authorship or author order of a submitted manuscript must be justified, agreed upon by all relevant authors, and handled in accordance with the journal's policies and applicable publication ethics guidelines.
The journal reserves the right to investigate suspected authorship misconduct and take appropriate action, which may include rejection of a manuscript, where concerns are substantiated and consistent with the applicable editorial procedures.
We ask all authors, reviewers, and editorial contributors to uphold these principles to protect the credibility and integrity of IJIQ.
