Special Issue on: "The Information Revolution and Technology Transfer in E-Government"

Guest Editors:
Professor Yu-Chung Hung, National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan
Professor David C. Yen, Miami University, USA

The advent of new information and communication technologies such as the internet speeds up information circulation and generates new organisational models built on technological development and transfer. The public sector is not immune to such driving forces; therefore, e-government, which highly leverages new technologies to redefine and to redistribute information circulation, has become an inevitable trend.

The arena of e-government is fraught with many implications and issues worth further discussion and exploration especially with regard to the information revolution and technology transfer. The aim of this special issue is to provide a unique forum for the consideration of all issues related to the information revolution and technology transfer in e-government.
