Special Issue on: “Advanced Theory and Technologies for Design, Manufacturing and Materials”

Guest Editor: Professor Yang Ping, Jiangsu University, China

Research papers are invited for this IJMPT forthcoming special issue, whose purpose is to publish recent research outputs on product engineering employing advanced design theory, manufacturing technologies and materials technologies. By advanced concepts, we mean non-conventional techniques. In the last few decades, both academic literature and practice have put growing emphasis on the importance of advanced design, manufacturing and materials as a key factor in establishing durable competitive advantages in product engineering. The objective of the special issue is to provide a means for the publication and interchange of information, on an international basis, on all aspects of advanced theory and technologies for design, manufacturing and materials.

Subject Coverage
Suitable topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Physical mechanisms, chemical mechanisms and materials for product engineering
  • Manufacturing technologies for product engineering
  • Design theory and method for product engineering
  • Numerical methods, experiments and measurements for product engineering
  • MEMS, nanotechnology, micro-packaging technology and materials
  • Advanced design theory, manufacturing technologies and materials for structural integrity
  • Civil and construction engineering structural integrity and materials
  • Product development
