Abstract: Perceived organisational support (POS) has aroused a great deal of interest among researchers in the fields of psychology and management. POS reflects employees' belief that their organisations value their contributions and care about their welfare. This study aimed to analyse the influence of POS on organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB) and employees' attitude that is mediated by affective commitment. The study was conducted in an open and distance higher education in Indonesia. Using 248 observations, the statistical analysis was employed through validity test, reliability test, and path analysis. The result showed that POS has positive influence on affective commitment and affective commitment has positive influence on OCB and the intention to remain with the organisation. Absenteeism was found as the only variable not to be influenced by affective commitment.
