Abstracting/Indexing Services and Journal Lists

IJKESDP reports the most recent research results in the areas of knowledge engineering and soft data analysis. Knowledge engineering, in contrast to traditional engineering techniques, involves mimicking the performance of human experts in a limited sense. Knowledge engineering with soft data paradigms offers very significant attributes such as learning, autonomy and self-organisation.

Objectives

The main objective of IJKESDP is to report new research directions in the area of knowledge engineering and soft data paradigms, promoting multidisciplinary research in this area. Researchers, professors, application engineers, business professionals and students will gain considerable benefits through the application-oriented approach taken by the journal.

Readership

IJKESDP is directed towards researchers, application engineers, scientists, health professionals, business professionals, policy makers and students who are interested to learn about these innovative approaches.

Contents

IJKESDP will include original research papers and book reviews. All topics related to knowledge engineering and soft data paradigms will be considered for inclusion in the journal. Special Issues will occasionally be published.

Specific Notes for Authors

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and the author has cleared any necessary permissions with the copyright owner if it has been previously copyrighted). All authors must declare they have read and agreed to the content of the submitted manuscript. A full statement of our Ethical Guidelines for Authors is available.

All papers are refereed through a double blind process. A guide for authors, sample copies and other relevant information for submitting papers are available on the Submission of Papers web-page.
