IJIT is a fully refereed international journal which presents the latest developments to assist researchers in various industries, institutes, R&D labs and policy makers working in the field of engineering and automation technology. IJIT publishes modelling, simulation, design, and implementation aspects of measurement and control technology-related original papers, review papers, technical notes and correspondence. Applications papers may not necessarily involve novel theory, but those which describe new realisations of established methods for measurement and instrumentation which compare various designs are covered along with the latest research including theoretical papers which discuss the applicability of original ideas which engender new theoretical applications.
 Objectives
The main objective of IJIT is to establish an excellent channel of communication between experts in academic and research institutions, practitioners and professionals working in industry and related business, and policy makers. Readership
IJIT provides a research opportunity to help professionals, academics, researchers and policy makers, working in the field of instrumentation and dealing with modelling, data analysis, design, research and development, application or real-time implementation, to disseminate information and to learn from each other's work. IJIT publishes original papers, review papers, technical reports, and case studies. Special Issues devoted to important topics in advances in instrumentation systems will occasionally be published. Subject Coverage

- Computational electromagnetics and EMC
- Metrology and the theory of measurement
- Signal processing techniques for measurement and sensor-actuator systems

- Signal conditioning, data acquisition systems and telemetry
- PLCs/SCADA/DCS/automation
- Mechatronics, including smart sensors and MEMS
- Biomedical instrumentation
- Remote engineering and virtual instrumentation
- Recent developments in automation and control
Specific Notes for Authors
Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and the author has cleared any necessary permissions with the copyright owner if it has been previously copyrighted). All authors must declare they have read and agreed to the content of the submitted manuscript. A full statement of our Ethical Guidelines for Authors is available.
