Information security is important to the rapid growth of the Internet and advances of computer systems. However, existing journals on information security mainly focus on either theory or specific areas of information and computer security.
IJACT aims to introduce new ground between these two areas. It proposes and fosters discussion on cryptographic algorithms and protocols that are directly applicable.
Objectives
The objectives of IJACT are to establish an international forum and promote applicable research in cryptography. It serves as a bridge between cryptographers and security engineers.
Readership
IJACT provides a vehicle to help academics, researchers, and engineers, working in the fields of cryptography and information security, to disseminate information and to learn from each other’s work. Contents
IJACT publishes original research papers. Special issues devoted to important topics in applied cryptography will occasionally be published. Subject Coverage Topics suitable for IJACT include but are not limited to:
- Anonymity
- Authentication
- Broadcast encryption
- Ciphers
- Cryptanalysis
- Data security
- Digital cash
- Digital signatures
- E-auction
- E-commerce
- Encryption
- E-gambling
- E-voting
- Key distribution
- Identification
- Identity-based cryptography
- Online fraud and web security
Specific Notes for Authors
Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently
under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may
only be submitted if the paper was not originally copyrighted and if it has
been completely re-written).
All papers are refereed through a double blind process. A guide for authors,
sample copies and other relevant information for submitting papers are
available in the Full Submission Guidelines
web-page.
AUTHORS MUST SUBMIT THEIR PAPERS THROUGH THE ON LINE SUBMISSION SYSTEM, OTHERWISE THEIR PAPERS WOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR PUBLICATION All papers must be submitted online. To submit a paper, please go to
Online Submissions of Papers.
If you experience any problems submitting your paper online,
please contact submissions@inderscience.com,
describing the exact problem you experience. Please include in your email the title of the Journal.
