Special Issue on: "Computational Intelligence in Biomedical Informatics"

Guest Editors:
Prof. Ping-Tsai Chung, Long Island University, USA
Prof. Frank Hsu, Fordham University, USA
Prof. Hui-Huang Hsu, Tamkang University, Taiwan

Advances of Computing and Information Science technology techniques have facilitated, accelerated, and promoted the research on molecular biology and medicine in the past few decades. To discover more new knowledge in biomedical areas and to improve the quality of healthcare and medicine, the techniques and applications of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining, and high performance computing are extremely useful. This special issue aims to address and attract state-of-the-art solutions and novel attempts in the area of computational intelligence in biomedical informatics.

Please note that this announcement is sent to the research community at large, authors who have published papers in IIBM 2010 are encouraged to submit their extended work. (IIBM 2010 is the International Workshop on Intelligent Informatics in Biology and Medicine http://iibm10.csie.tku.edu.tw, to be held February, 15-18, 2010, Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Cracow College Krakow, Poland.)

Papers will be published in the International Journal of Computational Biology and Drug Design.
