What are these templates for?

The template file is just a guide which allows your text to appear within the margins appropriate to the size of the journal. When you insert your text and figures etc., it will show approximately how many pages your article will total.

Do I need to use one?

If you want to know how many pages your article will comprise in the particular journal format, then yes. But please note: it is not essential that you use one, since all articles, if accepted, will be correctly formatted for publication by our typesetter.

What are the formats of the journals?

Inderscience uses two formats of journals:

9 ½" x 6 ½" - the majority of Inderscience journals are this size (roughly A5), with one column per page.

9 ½" x 6 ½" size templates are meant for the following journals:

A4 - some Inderscience journals are this larger size with two columns per page.

A4 size templates are meant for the following journals:

(If you use LaTex, you must save your LaTex file as a PDF file to ensure that those reviewing your article will be able to view it. These LaTex template files were developed using MiKTeX 2.8 TeXworks software.)

Bibliography Style File (.bst)
