SUSCOM-2020: Special Issue on: "Advances in Computational Intelligence for Machine Vision and Image Processing"

Computational intelligence refers to a machine’s ability to learn from experimental observations and available data. Computational intelligence has a combination of fuzzy logic, neural networks and probabilistic algorithms. These three parts of computational intelligence deal with error, approximation and uncertainty. Due to their capability in dealing with error, approximation and uncertainty, these approaches are very successful in solving real-life problems.

This special issue has the key objective of presenting recent advancements in computational intelligence while dealing with machine vision and image processing. It will enable academicians, scientists and active researchers to broadcast their innovative studies in the field of machine vision and image processing using computational intelligence approaches.

This special issue will carry significantly extended versions of articles from the International Conference on Sustainable Computing in Science, Technology and Management (SUSCOM-2020). Additionally, the Guest Editors will also invite researchers who are unable to participate in the conference to submit their unpublished research articles for this call.

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and if appropriate written permissions have been obtained from any copyright holders of the original paper).

All papers are refereed through a peer review process.
