IMAT3E'18: Special Issue on: "Advanced Technologies in Energy and Electrical Engineering"

Guest Editor:
Prof. Motahhir Saad, Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University, Morocco

Renewable energy and electrical technology are instrumental and indispensable to our existence in the context of the technology-driven living pattern of present times. In today’s technology-driven world, energy and electrical engineering is the cornerstone and driver of innovation of the devices we utilise daily to improve our quality of life. Renewable energy, electrical engineering, embedded systems and artificial/computational intelligence are driven by growth and new advanced technologies.

The main objective of this special issue is to publish high-quality manuscripts on advances in the state-of-the-art of renewable energy, electrical engineering, embedded systems and artificial/computational Intelligence. Both theoretical contributions – including new techniques, concepts and analyses – and practical contributions – including system experiments and prototypes and new applications – are welcome. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that present original and unpublished research in all areas related to advanced technologies in energy and electrical engineering.

The issue will carry revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the International Meeting on Advanced Technologies in Energy and Electrical Engineering (IMAT3E'18), but we also strongly encourage researchers who were unable to participate in the conference to submit articles for this call.

Subject Coverage
Suitable topics include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Renewable energies
  • Smart grids
  • Power electronics
  • Embedded systems
  • Artificial and computational intelligence
  • Internet of Things
  • Blockchain and cyber security
  • Automatic control systems
