Special Issue on: "Role of Smart Devices in Teaching and Learning"

Recently, the usage of smart devices such as the smart phone, tablets and PDAs is high due to the technological developments in all the area. Many people are using smart devices for communication, controlling of devices, data storage and retrieval, data processing, and data managing operations. Specifically, these smart devices are used by young people like graduate students and budding teachers for discussing technical ideas through social networks, email, online forums and file sharing with various mobile technologies. This facilitates the teaching and learning process, at anytime and anywhere. Through this special issue, the educational experts and researchers are invited to submit their innovative ideas and practices through original research article to pilot the digitised educational society in a right way.

The issue will carry revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the National Conference on Big Data Analytics and Mobile Technologies (NCBM 2017), but we also strongly encourage researchers unable to participate in the conference to submit articles for this call.

Notes for Prospective Authors

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and if appropriate written permissions have been obtained from any copyright holders of the original paper).

All papers are refereed through a peer review process.
