Special Issue on: "Precision Engineering and Tribology"

Guest Editors:
Dr. Belal Yousif, University of Southern Queensland, Australia
Dr. Andrew Batchelor, Monash University, Malaysia

The purpose of this issue is to explore the relationship between tribology and precision in manufacturing. The issue will cover but is not limited to nano-technology and nano-tribology.

Applications of precision manufacturing in, for example, orthopaedic endoprostheses are also welcome. Authors are also encouraged to submit papers relating to constraints imposed by tribology and precision manufacturing (in its current form) on new environmental technologies (the new ‘green economy’).

Subject Coverage
Suitable topics include but are not limited to:

  • Precision engineering
  • Tribology
  • New materials
  • Biomedical engineering
  • New precision technologies to support the environment
