TE2024: Special Issue on: "Transdisciplinary Engineering for Agility in Sustainable Stakeholder Value Creation"

Guest Editors:
Prof. Federico Trigos, EGADE Business School Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico
Dr. Pisut Koomsap, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand
Dr. Susan Lattanzio, University of Bath, UK
Prof. Margherita Peruzzini, University of Bologna, Italy

In today's dynamic business environment organisations are constantly challenged to respond swiftly to emerging complex problems that transcend individual disciplines. To achieve sustainable solutions, a transdisciplinary approach is essential. This involves leveraging rapidly advancing technology whilst engaging with stakeholders across the value chain to ensure that their needs and expectations have been considered.

The goal of this special issue is to foster and advance high-quality research in transdisciplinary engineering, with the aim of discovering sustainable solutions for complex problems and enriching stakeholder value creation. This initiative seeks to cultivate a community of scholars from diverse fields, including project management, innovation management, new product development, entrepreneurship, software engineering, design, and engineering education.

Studies utilising any of the whole spectra of empirical approaches, both qualitative and quantitative, in either field or laboratory settings are of interest to us. We also value theoretical pluralism. All articles are expected to make a significant practical and theoretical contribution.

The Guest Editors will be inviting substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the 31st International Conference on Transdisciplinary Engineering (TE2024), for review and potential publication, but are also inviting other experts to submit articles for this call.
