International Journal of Computer Aided Engineering and Technology
Special Issue on: "Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science in Community Service: Theory and Application"
Guest Editors:
Prof. S.G. Ahmed, Zagazig University, Egypt
Dr. Abdulsattar Abdullah Hamad, Tikrit University, Iraq
Different branches of mathematics have played an important role since ancient times, and with the development of computer science, the importance of mathematics is increasing. As for the relationship between mathematics in various branches of engineering and its old and modern disciplines with technological development, it is difficult to separate mathematics, computer science and the disciplines of ancient and modern engineering. The relationship between mathematics, engineering and computer science arises, for example, in energy, environment, materials and healthcare.
All of these topics involve enormous scales and complexity, and this poses challenges and provides opportunities for the development of advanced mathematical tools to ensure sound decision making.
Recently, data sciences and machine learning have emerged in a diverse collection of engineering fields. This special issue aims to present recent developments in mathematics in complex engineering problems, and their relationships with computer science. This involves, but isn’t limited to, the fields of modelling and simulation, computation, analysis, control, optimisation, data science, practical engineering problems and, finally, machine learning.
In summary, the objectives of this special issue are to explore recent developments in mathematics in complex engineering problems, and their relationships with computer science; to present recent tools, techniques and methods related to practical engineering and computer science problems; to explore the new trends in modelling and simulation, computation, analysis, control, optimisation, data science and machine learning.
Subject CoverageSuitable topics include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Modelling of engineering problems
- Mathematical models
- Chaotic dynamic systems
- Methods of solving systems of ordinary and partial differential equations
- Complex engineering systems
- Asymptotic analysis
- Control theory
- Optimisation
- Data science
- Networking
- Software
- Internet source
- Machine learning
