Abstract: Every aspect of management in the modern age relies heavily on information to succeed. It is an important reserve needed to develop assets. Hence, primary objective of this study is to evaluate the support of information systems to decision making of the business unit in the forest industry. Therefore, the main aim of the study is to define information needs from the decision-making point of view. Secondary aim is to evaluate factors| influence on the information. This research shows how Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) can be used to prioritise critical issues concerning Information Systems development.
