Abstract: Quality and innovation are two key competitive strategies that many organisations pursue to win customers in their business. But the application of quality and innovation is complex in the public provision of education where the bottom-line is not directly measured in financial terms. This paper examines how the concepts of 'quality' and 'innovation' are adapted in the Leaders in Education Programme (LEP) in an effort to address the professional development needs of Singapore school leaders in meeting current and future challenges.
