Title: Determination of the general equation of the gear efficiency of planetary gear trains

Abstract: On the basis of defining the general equation of torque of a planetary differential gear train, the general equation of the gear efficiency has been derived. Then, the general equation of the gear efficiency has been applied on a new automatic planetary gear transmissions as numerical examples.
