Abstract: The article continues the generalisation of the subtraction procedure for removing power-line interference from ECG for the common case of non-multiplied sampling and power-line frequency deviation. The stage of linear segments detection is the most important stage in the subtraction method. A new complex modification of the linear criterion is introduced that retains all needed features for non-multiplied sampling. A new manner for complex composition of filters for PL interference extracting from linear segments of the ECG signal and for PL interference restoring for non-linear segment is introduced. The proposed filters are composed by summarising two partial simple moving averaging filters. Transfer functions of complex filters have been synthesised and analysed. The analysis allows a qualitative estimation to be done. Theoretical approaches are supported by numerous practical experiments in MATLAB environment.
