Title: Ranking organisational units with a human capital management approach using fuzzy TOPSIS: a case study

Abstract: Various previous studies have shown the importance of human capital in organisations. According to these studies, human capital is one of the most influential resources on the performance of the organisations. Therefore, understanding the human capital level of the organisation can help in managing and improving this valuable capital. In order to rank the organisational units with a human capital approach, TOPSIS technique can be applied and as the human capital levels information in an organisation are applied through linguistic variables and these information are not certain, it is better to use fuzzy logic in measurements. This study is done to rank organisational units using fuzzy TOPSIS technique with a human capital approach. The results reveal that oil and gas engineering unit has the first rank in Foolad Technique Co. units. Finally, sensitivity analyses on the five criteria revealed knowledge accessibility criteria had the greatest impact.
