Title: Geographic-based community information system to support community development

Abstract: To support community development, there is a need for community information systems. The objective of the study is to develop such systems for supporting community development. To start, documents were reviewed and data of related agencies was compared. The survey of 400 samples was conducted and then 32 key informants were interviewed. The results showed that the essential requirement pattern of geographic-based community information systems consists of 13 aspects of community information. After that, the system was developed using an agile approach. Finally, the system was evaluated and it showed that users were satisfied with the overall system.
