Abstract: Recently, rapid improvement of wireless communication and mobile technology provides more individually learning resources and fulfil more individually learning needs. As a result, the teaching environment extends from campus to outside of the school and the learning space expands from classroom to everywhere. However, many researchers indicate that too much information will cause cognitive load. Also learning style will influence the degree of accepting the information technology and learner behaviours. The comparison of the effects of the learning style and cognitive load in this study showed that students with lower cognitive load had better leaning effects for using PDA with wireless system. It implies that learning style does not affect students| learning effects, but cognitive load is a key factor to influence students| learning effects in a mobile learning environment.
