Abstract: The performance of tacit knowledge management is a key of enhancing the service level of enterprises. Based on the characteristics of tacit knowledge management and the methodology of enterprise performance evaluation, a fuzzy evaluation system for the management performance of tacit knowledge is set up in this paper. Performance of tacit knowledge management is assessed qualitatively using linguistic |if-then| rules and quantitatively on a 0 to 1 scale. A company is taken as an illustrative example. Comprehensive analyses and comparisons show that this new method is efficient and promising.
