Abstract: E-learning has transformed the traditional premise of educational theorists. Educationists and business strategies worldwide have been compelled to think out of the classroom. This work is a fair attempt to provide a perfect domain independent framework for e-learning environments. It is proposed that the generic framework will fit all e-learning environments, from arts to medicine. It focuses mainly on the feasibility of bringing all environments under one roof in spite of their heterogeneity. The outcome of this work will be an analysis model enriched with existing e-learning standards proposed by IEEE LTSC. The analysis model is based on the newly proposed e-learning architecture.
