Abstract: The study was initiated with the purpose of determining the best choice among various attributes of e-tailing websites by the customers while purchasing footwear online. Researchers have examined the different attributes of e-tailing websites affecting the decisions of online shoppers. Conjoint model has been employed and it is tested by regression for the establishment of the best preference amongst the selected attributes of the e-tailing websites. The data has been collected from the students of different colleges and universities situated in Punjab (India). The results of this empirical research indicate that the students prefer e-tailing websites/applications which ensure fast delivery, provide try and buy option, show detailed description of the product along with manufacturer/seller details, offer call me back option, allow shoppers to post and watch others' reviews and also give 30 days' time period for returning the product.
Keywords: e-tailing websites/applications; footwear; conjoint analysis; regression analysis; consumers' preferences.
