Abstract: One of the educational development challenges solved by a Public Private Partnership (PPP) solution became a concern for various parties. The authors discuss the pros and cons of implementing PPP in education using practices from various countries. Research sub-discussion of PPP implementation in education is still limited. Therefore, PPP implementation literature trends in education will be examined in this study. Using keywords related to PPP in education, a systematic literature review was chosen to map this topic from many research publications. PPP research in education varied from 1999 to 2022. Then, six clusters concerning PPP in the education sector were raised. Two clusters are typical in PPP-related conversations, and the other four clusters show that the diversity of sub-discussions has been at the public policy level, namely input, goals and process, output and outcome.

Keywords: PPP; public private partnership; education; SLR; systematic literature review; education policy.
