Abstract: In this age of change and uncertainty, new models of engagement are being forged. It is therefore timely to ask what has happened to indigenous entrepreneurs in Australia, and what, if any, can be done differently or improved upon. In this article we examine the performance of indigenous businesses. The article concludes by exploring how strategies might be better designed to serve the needs of indigenous businesses.
