Abstract: This study proposes a framework for the management of risks and resilience in logistics projects for the specific context of operations in customs forwarding agencies, with the purpose of improving the delivery of machinery and equipment to customers, in order to meet time and quality requirements. The study builds on a systematic literature review and on the conduction of a case study, resorting to multiple data collection methods, including interviews, observation and documental analysis. The study suggests that project managers need to build skilled teams that are able to define the scope, to develop the work breakdown structure focusing in areas of knowledge, and to identify operational risks associated with the development of mitigation and resilience strategies, while implementing project monitoring activities.
