Abstract: In this ever-evolving world of technology and business survival, corporate strategies have implemented practices that enter into the world of shadow and espionage. A means of combating these potential threats is to facilitate a security strategy. Network security should play a vital role in electronic security to maintain corporate success in the marketplace. The general mindset of Corporate America is the lax towards network security and electronic industrial espionage. This paper outlines simple but effective measures by which proprietary information may be electronically exchanged while maintaining proprietorship.
