Title: Critical thinking: student-centred teaching approach and personalised learning, as well as previous education achievements, contribute to critical thinking skills of students

Abstract: The study aimed to investigate the impact of student-centred teaching approach, personalised learning, and previous education achievements on critical thinking skills. The quantitative correlational approach, the structured questionnaire, and the cluster random sample (N = 214) were selected to be used in the study. It is found that there is a strong positive correlation between student-centred teaching and critical thinking skills (r = 0.555), meanwhile, personalised learning, as well as previous education achievements, correlates positively and significantly with critical thinking skills (r = 0.369; r = 0.424). Student-centred teaching and previous education achievements are strong predictors of critical thinking skills.
