Abstract: Modern times are required for smart cities to have sustainable transport systems. In several years the number of transport operations has increased considerably and the development is expected to increase in the years to follow. This links environmental costs directly to reduce the quality of life in urban cities like air pollution, noise, etc. Municipal governments invest in clean, safe, efficient and economic sustainable transport networks to address this problem. The problem facing decision makers in transportation is how these sustainable transport systems can be defined and selected. We introduce an improved hybrid fuzzy logic system (IHFLS) for the generation of aggregate values for the sustainable evaluation of hybrid fuzzy logic. There are three phases in the suggested solution. In step 1, we define the sustainability evaluation criteria for transport. In step 2, experts provide language ratings against selected criteria for potential alternatives. Lastly, IHFLS generates aggregate results for the evaluation of sustainability and the choice of best alternatives.
