A framework of performance management based on an analysis and evaluation model for manufacturing systems

Abstract: A performance management system is regarded as a framework for manufacturing enterprise, and links strategies, resources, and business processes through the management of the enterprise's performance. It is used to guide decisions and activities for both employee and manager in the enterprise. Research and practice of performance management is reviewed. An enterprise performance analysis model, based on the process and multi-view technology, is suggested then a performance evaluation model and benchmarking of performance evaluation are presented. Finally, a framework for a performance management system based on the performance analysis and evaluation is put forward.
