Abstract: Deformation, internal forces and stress of throttle slice of shock absorber were analysed and the model of throttle slice stress was found through the relation of stress with the deformation. A practical example of stress numeral simulation of throttle slice, together with its approximate by Machine Design Book and by ANSYS was followed; the results of stress computation were compared and the declination to the new method is analysed. The compared results show that the stress model and numeral simulation computation method are accurate enough and can be used to compute the stress at any radius position of single throttle slice of vehicle shock absorber.
