Abstract: This paper studies the management methods of public digital cultural services in smart library to meet the information needs of readers. Using Apriori association rule mining algorithm, the massive public cultural digital information of the smart library is mined. The particle swarm optimisation algorithm is used to optimise the Apriori association rule mining algorithm to improve the mining performance of massive data in the public database of the smart library. According to the mining results of association rules in the public database of smart library, the collaborative filtering algorithm is used to recommend the required digital resources for users to meet the personalised needs of users. The experimental results show that this method can provide digital resources for smart library users according to the needs of users, improve the management level of public digital cultural services of smart library, and meet the information needs of readers.
