Abstract: The use of technology is driving significant changes in the way educational institutions meet their goals and objectives. With the rapid pace of technological change and increased competition, effective management of Information Technology (IT) presents significant challenges. A number of critical management issues are discussed, including personnel recruitment, management training, performance evaluation, IT planning and managing IT for maximum productivity.
