Special Issue on: “Reference Models for Forming Organisational or Collaborative Pedagogical Best Practices”

Learning design forms the foundation for service-oriented and content-oriented paradigms. With increasing collaborative initiatives across geographical boundaries, meaningful collaborative sharing and learning regarding pedagogical design practices can potentially result in innovative practices and higher quality in learning and teaching.

This special issue seeks to gather case studies of organisational or collaborative pedagogical practices which have succeeded in enhancing teaching and learning. Reports on lessons learnt from actual implementation of pedagogical hypotheses using ICT for organisational or collaborative environments are also welcomed.

These reference models will serve to inform readers regarding common best practices which can be used to formulate the basis for future international collaboration as well as enable faster adoption, experimentation and adaptation of successful practices in local contexts.

Subject Coverage
Submissions are invited that fall into (but are not limited to) one of the following topic areas:

• Framework, management, people-oriented or policy issues
• Management guidelines for forming and sustaining successful communities of practice and/or a thriving learning organisation
• Criteria for forming successful reference models
• Technological issues
• ICT or Semantic Web technologies used to scaffold learning design
• Technological means to scaffold collaborative pedagogical practice design
• Assessment issues
• Assessment of pedagogical practices for forming best practices
• Assessment of reference models

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere
