Special Issue on: “Beijing Olympic Games: the Challenges and Expectations for Enterprises”

China has had a faster growth economy than any other country in the world in the past decade since its entry to the World Trade Organization (WTO). When Beijing hosts the 2008 Olympic Games, China will demonstrate a brand new development in all perspectives including economy, politics and culture.
Forging a new Olympic economics based on the 2008 Olympic Games is an ambitious goal. What are the challenges and expectations for enterprises involved in the Bejing Olympic Games? This special issue intends to bring forward the best research work in the field of enterprise management, operations management, supply chain management and technology management, specifically those related to China.
New contributions addressing the use of various management tools in the Bejing Olympic Games and related topics are invited. Submissions should highlight the differences between enterprise behaviour, strategies and/or recommended policies in Bejing Olympic Games issues when presenting insights in contrast to conventional methods.
