Special Issue on: "Awareness in Sensor Networks"

The goal of this special issue is to provide an opportunity for researchers, engineers and scientists to publish their latest results related to awareness in sensor networks. Awareness is the ability to be conscious of, feel or perceive, and implies vigilance in observing, or alertness in drawing inferences from what one experiences (Merriam-Webster).

The ultimate goal of aware computing is to create different devices, systems and/or networks that are able to be aware.

Subject Coverage
Suitable topics include but are not limited to:
  • Context/situation awareness
  • Location/position awareness
  • Intention/preference awareness
  • Energy/power awareness
  • Danger/risk/fault/trouble awareness
  • Safety/security/tampering awareness
  • User/behaviour awareness

Notes for Prospective Authors

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper was not originally copyrighted and if it has been completely re-written).
