This special issue will publish research contributions that significantly advance the state-of-the-art research in service-oriented computing and separation of concerns. The separation of concerns (OR aspect-oriented software development methods), as a conceptual tool, enables us to manage the complexity of the software systems that we develop. We welcome papers that are theoretical, conceptual, and descriptive in nature of the state of the art of theses area. Articles reporting the practical applications of different theoretical approaches also will be of particular interest.

Subject Coverage
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
  • Service-oriented software engineering
  • Service-oriented architecture
