Abstract: This paper empirically examine the relationship between the quality of MBA education and firm performance. There are three interesting results from this research. First, it is revealed that those CEOs with MBA had performed no better than their counterpart - those non-MBA predecessors. Second, it is suggested that those CEOs who graduated from those MBA programs running independently had performed significantly worse than their counterpart. Finally, it is indicated that those CEOs who graduated from the programs sponsored by Sino-foreign cooperative model had performed much better than their counterpart. Those results provide useful practical guideline for future MBA education in China.
