Abstract: From a great deal of literature, the paper summing up the completed profile proposition of General Manager's successor include experience background, working skills, personality and value four category assessment factors. Based on this completed profile proposition, the paper leverages the empirical research and normative research literature on the first three category assessment factors, and the best practice on value defined by Fortune Global 50 Multinational Enterprises, the paper raised totally 51 assessment variables of General Manager's successor selection, which contains 21 variables for experience background, 13 variables for working skills, 10 variables for personality and 7 variables for value.
