Abstract: The purpose of the present work is to optimise a supercritical power plant considering various natural gas extracted of Iran based on energy, exergy and environmental (3E) analysis. The results display that the optimisation is able to reduce the cost of emission (3.55%) and increase the energy and exergy efficiencies (1%). Also, the boiler is the major source of the destroyed exergy by 87%, followed the turbine by 7%. The present study shows that the gas extracted from the region of Khangiran is the best fuel due reduction of NOx and the cost of emission by 93.74% and 29.7%, respectively.
