Abstract: Nanominerals are one of the core research objects of nano-earth science, and they are also the focus of research in recent years. With the rapid development of nano-earth science, more and more attention has been paid to the distribution, existence form and reactivity of nanominerals in the surface environment. The concept of nanominerals is sometimes inconsistent with the definition of modern classics in practice. This paper uses nanostructured minerals instead of nanominerals, and briefly analyses the concept of nanostructured minerals. This paper briefly describes the reasons for the formation, existence, and mechanisms of chemical reactions at the biosphere and abiotic interface in the global environment. Nanominerals have important environmental significance. The structure of nanostructured minerals, the particularity of surface groups, and the special interfacial reactivity derived from them make them important in various geological processes. Large-scale nanominerals have adsorption behaviour, and their dissolution rates will vary in different environments. Therefore, the research on the difference of nanomineral crystals will help to further promote the development of earth sciences in a more micro and in-depth direction.
