Abstract: In this study, we will establish the correlations between the climate variables and the outputs of the pollution elimination in the natural lagoon of Beni Messous, using multiple regression method. We have chosen the ascending method 'FORWARD' for the selection of these variables in each regression. After the analysis, it has been noticed that the elimination output of the biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) as well as the elimination output of the chemical oxygen demand (COD) are primarily influenced by the sun and the temperature of water. The elimination output of the suspended matter (SM) is influenced by the speed of wind and the amount of sunlight, whereas the output of nitrite (NO2) and ammonium (NH4+) elimination is primarily influenced by the pH and the elimination output of orthophosphates (PO43−) is influenced by the temperature of water, the speed of wind and the evaporation.
